Busking and Music
Busking and music is currently allowed at our markets. As a courtesy, please check in with Market staff at the Info Booth before playing.
Rotate locations every 30 minutes. Please respect our vendor’s ability to sell and make way for customers to walk throughout the market space. If a vendor asks you to move along, please do so.
Kids Vending Day
BACK in a limited capacity in 2023! We are excited to announce that we are bringing back Kids Vending Day, thanks to support from The Bellingham Public Schools Foundation.
Kids Vending Day is a special day where kids between the ages of 8 and 16 can sell their homemade crafts in a designated spot at the farmers market. This program helps kids learn about business, marketing, and customer service. And, it’s fun!
Details for 2023:
July 15, August 19, September 16
Kids register on market day between 9:45-10:15 am. Do not come earlier, as our market vendors are loading out of the space with vehicles.
A parent or guardian must be present to assist with registration
Cost is $10
Bring one table and chair
Only homemade crafts or wares are allowed. No lemonade, eggs, or other foods are allowed.
Each participant is expected to stay until 1:30 pm; at which time Kids Vending Day ends.
All kids and their items must be out of the space by 2 pm, as our market vendors need to load out.
Keep your furry friends at home. Sorry, no dogs allowed.
Community Organizations and Non Profits
Community and non profits whose mission is in alignment with BFM’s are able to table with us at the Saturday Market.
Please get prior approval from BFM staff by emailing: market@bellinghamfarmers.org
Organizations are allowed to table with us a few times per year. Cost is $30/day. This opportunity is available based on space at the market on a particular day. We prioritize organizations who are in line with our mission. This includes a focus on food, food access, food education, gardening, etc.
