  • Bellingham’s farmers market roots began in the late 1970s and officially became the Bellingham Farmers Market Association in 1992, beginning as a small gathering of farmers and food vendors on Railroad Ave. In 2006, with support from the City, Depot Market Square was built, providing permanent infrastructure like a pavilion, kitchen, electricity, and restrooms. Today, Depot Market Square serves as both a weekday parking lot and a vibrant weekend home for the Bellingham Farmers Market.
