Read the information below, following each step, and you'll be on your way to joining a great organization committed to supporting market vendors.
1.) Decide which vendor category you are in. Farmers can sell crafts but need to participate in the craft jury.
2.) Read the BFM Handbook and Bylaws Read and download either the Partial or Full Membership Application. All applications are due to the Bellingham Farmers Market by January 31. Applications, however, will continue to be accepted throughout the season with the possibility of acceptance. Read and download the Stall Schedule Form (requesting dates for vending in the markets) Read and download the Craft Jury Form if you're interested in selling arts and crafts at the Market
3.) Complete the Partial or Full Membership Application Complete the Stall Schedule Complete the Craft Jury Form Mail the forms listed above together, along with a check for full payment to: BFM, P.O. Box 1131, Bellingham, WA 98227
4.) If you want to sell arts and crafts make sure that you jury your works. There is typically only one jury every
year, held in early February. Please refer to the
Craft Jury Form for the current jury date.
5.) First round of notification of membership approvals/denials will be last week in February.
6.) Second round of notification of membership approvals/denials will be last week in March.
7.) Attend the Annual Spring Membership Meeting, held Saturday prior to opening day, location to be annouced.
