Tim planted our hazelnut (filbert) orchard on five acres of his family’s dairy farm. Our hazelnuts continue the McMurry family's Whatcom County farming tradition. A small grower, we do most of our work by hand with minimal machinery. We harvest in October and sell out by year end as we have a steady customer base.
Products
Ennis hazelnuts, a variety developed at Oregon State. Ennis is an “in-shell” nut, large and rich in flavor. Hazelnuts and filberts are one of the same. The local name is “filbert”.
