Woodworker Ian Balsillie has been creating handcrafted furniture since 2000. He specializes in rendezvous chairs and unique folding tables: designs steeped in history. Rendezvous chairs were used during the Civil War. The tables are documented in the Napoleonic era. Ian adds his own personal touches to these historic designs, including a wood stain he creates from strong British tea.

RENDEZVOUS CHAIRS: lounge chairs made of fir, which side apart for easy storage. FOLDING TABLES: Sturdy Douglas fir with pine tops The tables fold to 3 inches wide, with no metal hinges. Sizes range from coffee and laptop tables to two-foot-long vendor tables. SPECIAL ORDERS: Limits are your imagination and the law of physics.
