Wednesday Market in Fairhaven!

A great mid-week pick-me-up, our Wednesday Market runs from 12noon-5pm from June 1st through September 28th at the Fairhaven Village Green, behind Village Books. Over 20 vendors offering everything from fresh produce to fine jewelry, delicious snacks to fresh flowers. This Market also features our new FRESH LOCAL MUSIC series! From 2:30-4:30pm each Wednesday, get comfortable on the green and listen to great local musicians perform! CLICK HERE to see the list of performers!

Kids Vending Days!

On the last Saturday of the month kids are encouraged to vend at the Market. This is a great opportunity for children to learn about commerce and raise money from items they make or grow. In past seasons kids have brought to market: flowers, produce, jewelry, cards, paintings and a whole variety of things they have made or grown. Often, kids make more than just a little pocket change – they are very pleased experiencing the financial rewards of hard work. CLICK HERE for more information.

Chef in Market!

The 2011 Chef in the Market series brings several of our finest local chefs to the Bellingham Farmers Market to work their magic on the third Saturday of the month (May through Sept.) at 11 a.m. They'll demonstrate easy, affordable recipes featuring local produce, and provide tasty samples and recipes.

We are also offering a new Tasting Series. At 1 p.m. on Chef in the Market days, you'll be able to taste several varieties of the featured produce item, right from our farmers' booths -- for example, find out how the red and white French Breakfast radishes differ from the Easter Egg variety, among others!

June 18th - Due to rain, today's Chef In the Market has been canceled. We will reschedule with Ciao Thyme soon! But, keep in mind, tomorrow is Father's Day and we still have all of the great gifts you're looking for here at the market!
