Vendor Profile
Born and raised in Ambo, Ethiopia , I learned to cook Ethiopian food from my mother when I was five. I started as a vendor to the Bellingham Farmers Market and catering groups of people around Bellingham in 2005, after I moved with my family to Bellingham in 2002. I have catered for as many people as 300 for the Slum Doctor Program as well as LaFiama employees year end party. My cooking is original with ingredients (spices) from my mother.
Products
Injera, a staple bread made from TEFF, Barley and Rice. Chicken or Lentil Stews and two additional vegetable side dishes.
